Coordination of Youth, Sports and Culture interventions

As part of the mandate of the Ministry of Youth Sports and Culture, coordination of initiatives from various partners geared toward the development of youth has been given due attention. Ministry of has established a stakeholders’ forum where different partners meet and to share plans, implementation progress, challenges and lessons. The forum provides a framework harmonization of interventions to avoid duplication of efforts among the implementing partners in the area of Youth, Sports and Culture. The forum ensures that interventions are harmonized and fully aligned with national priorities and strategies. To ensure effectiveness of coordination, clear terms of reference for the forum were developed and a structure to take the leadership of the forum established. MoUs will be designed and signed between the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture with all main stakeholders (civil society networks, technical and financial partners, relevant government entities, National Youth Organizations) to clearly spell out the expected outcomes of their interventions and how best we can work together to maximize the benefits of these interventions.
